Data Deletion

How to delete your Vatli account and the data we hold about you.

Vatli is operated by IXORIC TECHNOLOGIES LLP. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. This page explains how, for each kind of person whose data Vatli may hold. It applies to data you gave us directly and to data we received through Facebook Login or the WhatsApp Business Platform.

1. Vatli customers (businesses using Vatli)

To delete your workspace and everything in it (contacts, conversations, templates, broadcasts, automations, and team members):

  1. Email hello@vatli.co from the email address of the workspace owner, with the subject “Delete my Vatli account”.
  2. We reply to confirm the request came from the owner, then delete the workspace and its data.
  3. We email you once deletion is complete, within 30 days of your confirmed request.

We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and payment records.

2. Removing your WhatsApp connection

To stop Vatli from accessing your WhatsApp Business account without deleting your workspace, open Settings → WhatsApp in the Vatli app and choose Disconnect. This deletes the access token Vatli stored for your WhatsApp Business account.

If you connected WhatsApp with Facebook Login, you can also remove Vatli from your Facebook account: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Vatli, and choose Remove.

3. People who message a business on WhatsApp

If you chatted on WhatsApp with a business that uses Vatli, that business controls your messages and contact details. Ask the business directly to delete them. If you cannot reach the business, email hello@vatli.co with the business name and your phone number, and we will pass your request to them and help them complete it.
